Okay, now blogger won't let me publish to my site anymore. Lovely. I guess I moved just in time!

An answer to Jade's question- there appear to be feeds at the following URLs (just put the blog.gingerblue.com address in front) atom.xml, rsd.xml, index.rdf, and index.xml. I know nothing about that (when I stopped web designing, I pretty much lost all interest in everything besides reading people's blogs...) so please let me know if there's anything I can do to fix those or whatever.

Grace ate two squares of toilet paper yesterday. She just ripped them off the roll and put them right into her mouth and they were gone. I was very troubled by that, I must admit. The weirdest thing she has eaten before the toilet paper was some dried fruit our birds had thrown out of the cage. I don't think she managed to eat that- she just put it in her mouth and then spit it out (it was a super tiny piece for super tiny birds).

In other Grace news, my mom gave her a little haircut about a week ago. It looks cute, and the little bald spots have finally began to fill in with tiny wisps of beautiful curly hair. Before the cut (which she didn't love getting), a mullet was beginning to form. Not good, so my mom dealt with that ASAP.

Grace had her first restaurant experience on Friday evening- it was my dad's birthday and he wanted to go to Carrabba's. I was hoping something more exotic would be her first culinary adventure but we all had a good time. She gnawed on the heal of bread and then had some ice cream that the waitress brought her. She did well- no meltdowns or crying. She's a VERY nosey baby. I hope she doesn't turn into one of those kids that kneels in their seat and stares at people behind them, you know? I mean, we won't let her, but I don't want her to even consider it. But she loves people and making friends.

Here's a few photos- I have a bunch of movies but will upload/post those later.

Chel, she is just so adorable! We've been taking E to restaurants since she was a tiny baby, and I think she's used to the idea and what she's supposed to do there by now. We always take crayons and her DoodlePad so she has something to do, and we make sure to order for her right away so that she has something to do while we eat. It's worked out well for us so far!

Chel - She is so precious!! I love the new blog. It looks great. Don't worry about the toilet paper squares - a little paper never hurt anyone.

Chel (pronounced "shell"). 33. Mama to Gracie. Artist. Friend. Adoptive parent. Scrapbooker (not a very good one, at that). Long distance swimmer. Animal rescuer. Wife. Beader maker. Vegetarian. Rubber stamp collector.

Why the change? This new face of gingerblue.com is the culmination of three online journals/blog (the adoption blog, the baby blog, the art blog), plus the personal web page I have been maintaining since 1995. Here you'll find updates on Gracie, updates on my jewelry making, what I have going on in my art studio, and what's going on with life in general.
